Job Description:
The purpose of this position is to create and issue ID Cards to authorized members of the College community (students, employees, selected vendors). Additionally, this position is responsible for maintaining the necessary records associated with the ID Card system, preparing literature and brochures as well as routine office support. Responsibilities: - Provide high level customer service to all walk-in traffic and phone calls
- Use the ID Card System to capture image, print, prepare and issue ID Cards to pre-authorized card holders
- Determine and verify eligibility for card requests
- Understand, follow, and enforce all ID card policies and procedures with regard to production and distribution of ID cards
- Process charges to student accounts for replacement ID cards and collect/deposit fees as needed
- Maintain inventory and records for all ID card production (card stock, printer supplies [ribbons, laminates, cleaning cards/pens etc.], forms, brochures)
- Assist with maintenance of equipment (ID card printer, camera, and POS terminals)
- Provide all routine clerical support to the office
- Assist in opening and closing the ID Card Office - securing supplies and equipment
- Other duties as needed, ie: assist in the Purchasing and Inventory Control Department
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a customer service position
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Advanced level knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Access
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work independently
- Flexible schedule to include occasional evening and weekend hours
- Related card office experience a plus
- Experience using a digital photo software application a plus
- Working knowledge of Banner, Access Control, and NuVision programs: iAmecs, Video Pro a plus
Additional Information:
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, occasional weekends and evenings
Full year, full time
Salary: $12.75/hour
