Job Description:
The College of Saint Rose Department of Accounting invites applicants for an Assistant Professor of Accounting tenure track faculty position for the 2010-2011 academic year. Primary responsibilities include participation in the undergraduate and graduate accounting programs in areas of accounting principles, managerial accounting, not-for-profit accounting, governmental accounting, and auditing. Administrative tasks such as academic advising, curriculum development and program assessment will be assigned. Applicants must have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and must possess superior written and oral communication skills. As a member of The College of Saint Rose faculty, the applicant is expected to teach assigned courses in accordance with relevant academic policies; engage in scholarship, and to serve the College's communities through participation in Department, School and College-wide committees and internal or external events.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have an earned Ph.D. or DBA in Accounting.
